A beautiful 12" (30cm.) wood framed chaise a  porteur with richly embellished silk tapestry in golden and russet hues with deluxe twill rose decorated interior and glass seat for sitting a fine mademoiselle or lovely accessory. The chaise has the classic bombe shaped roof and gently curved back. The roof is velvet clad and the carved carrying handles are intact and firmly attached. The door has a brass handle that is ornately carved and formed. The window are beveled and pristine. The piece is tagged for a specialty shop in Europe and is c.1885.
