Peter loves to hide in the garden! It's always so much more fun to leap out and surprise mother than to be so boring as to wait on the porch!
Our funny little imp is a rare 16" Heubach 8590 and has the wonderful molded locks of dark blonde hair, Mischievous  wide blue painted side glancing eyes with white eye dots and wonderful clever mouth. He is on his original wood and composition body and is dressed for the first nip of autumn in his blue knit sweater and matching tam (not shown). Incised with the Heubach stamp 8  8590.  These adorable and very hard to find molds are seldom seen as once a collector acquires them, they tend to keep them for a very long time. Such is the case with young man. He hails from distant shores where he has led a life surrounded by fellow imps and much loved affection of his longtime owner. $15,700~
