Known as “Baby’ Jewels”, this is an exquisite example of a late 19th-century baby rattle. They were also known as “tear drier”. It is in exceptional condition and has the Mark at the back of the whistle. Governesses carriied these on their chatelaine and used them after baby became a toddler to whistle the child in from play. A lovely addition to your sweet baby or simply to display in all of its elegance.
