A luminous example, by François Gaultier. This Bébé is one of the exquisite and highly modeled examples of the transitional FG doll when the mold for the block letter first moved to the scroll. Her face is the face of an angel. Lovely, huge, blue eyes, framed by multi-stroked sienna brows, with soft mauve lids. The shading on the lids was eventually discontinued after this particular model moved into production. Everything about her is artistic, sensitive, delicate, and imploring. She has a pristine French wood and composition body.  Her ensemble is a superb silken costume with ecru lace. She wears a golden mohair wig. A fabulous doll with an attainable price 🌹
