A Rare Carton French Soldier
If you love, something, rare, and very unusual, this is the perfect addition to your collection. This soldier is completely made of ‘carton’ or cardboard. He is extraordinarily lightweight and superbly done from his inquisitive face, with large bulgy, glass eyes, to his fantastic costume, with matching hat in the manner of the French infantry soldier of the 1800s. His head has been pressed into a mold and painted, then fitted with glass eyes. Some rubs and marks due to the type of material he is constructed from. Generally in wonderful condition!
