This 26" French beauty is circa mid 1700s and thought to be a portrait of a lovely noble woman or royal. Completely carved from wood, she boasts a wooden carved stomacher,  panniers, and slippers, as well as articulations at the knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, and wrists. She has shapely, beautiful hands and can pose in a variety of ways including sitting. She is dressed in an ornate Robe à la Français, commiserate with her era of antique fabrics and lace. She also has carved and painted slippers on her delicate feet. She is ready for her place in a museum or your exquisite collection. Additional pictures available on request.
